On November 20th, The Matsumae International Foundation held a tree-planting ceremony for a young tree of the A-Bombed Aogiri Ⅱ donated by the city of Hiroshima. The Chairperson, Toshiaki Hashimoto, planted the Aogiri under the watchful eye of the staff. The MIF will carefully nurture the Aogiri as a new symbolic tree of the Foundation, which aims to realize a world free of nuclear weapons and a peaceful world through bonds of trust between researchers.
