With great pleasure, the MIF informs that the three fellows have completed their 6-month fellowship.

Dr. Kathelyn Paredes Villanueva from Universidad Autónoma Gabriel René Moreno, Facultad de Ciencias Agrícolas. She is a MIF fellow from Bolivia for the first time in 42 years. She conducted her research activities at Department of Wood Properties, Wood Anatomy and Quality Laboratory, Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute in Tsukuba.

Dr. Hermine Boukeng Jatsa, the first female fellow from Cameroon, University of Yaounde 1, Faculty of Science, Department of Animal Biology And Physiology, Laboratory of Animal Physiology / Centre for Schistosomiasis and Parasitology, Yaounde. She stayed at Department of Parasitology, Institute of Tropical Medicine (NEKKEN), Nagasaki University for her research.

Dr. Afef Ladhari from Department of Agronomy and Plant Biotechnology, University of Carthage, National Institute of Agronomy, Tunis (INAT), Tunisia. She’s also completed her research stay at Bioproduction Research Institute, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).
