The MIF is pleased that Dr. Nicolás Juan Cosentino and Dr. Javed Iqbal have completed their 6-month fellowship.

Dr. Nicolás Juan Cosentino (Argentina), from the Center of Ocean and Atmospheric Research, French-Argentine Institute of Studies on Climate and its Impacts, carried out his research under the supervision of Dr. Akinori Ito, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences.

Dr. Javed Iqbal (Pakistan), from Department of Earth Sciences, Faculty of Science, COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, conducted his research under the supervision of Dr. Fumitoshi Imaizumi, Department of Bioresource Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Shizuoka University.

Dr. Cosentino and Dr. Iqbal came to visit the MIF office at the end of their fellowship and shared their research activities and life experiences in Japan. And it was great that both of them had a fruitful time at their host institutions. The MIF would like to take this opportunity to express its gratitude to the host professors and institutions for their great effort in hosting them.
