A Graduation Ceremony for Dr. Ahmed Abdel Gawad Madbouly ELKADY from the Arab Republic of Egypt who completed his research study at Ehime University was held on the 7th of September at MIF’s reception house in Tokyo.  At the ceremony, Prof. HASHIMOTO, MIF’s Chairperson, directly presented the Certificate of Accomplishment and a memorial medal to the graduating Fellow. After the ceremony, Prof. HASHIMOTO hosted a farewell dinner at a traditional Japanese restaurant nearby, and Dr. ELKADY promised to enhance the relationships among the Fellows and with MIF.

The deadline date for the applications for 2019 MIF Research Fellowship Program is over.  The announcement for 2020 MIF Research Fellowship Program will be made around in this coming November.

A Graduation Ceremony for Dr. Eva Sarolta MARGITTAI from Hungary who completed her research study at Hokkaido University was held on the 28th of August at MIF’s reception house in Tokyo.  At the ceremony, Prof. HASHIMOTO, MIF’s Chairperson, directly presented the Certificate of Accomplishment and a memorial medal to the graduating Fellow. After the ceremony, Prof. HASHIMOTO hosted a farewell dinner at a traditional Japanese restaurant nearby, and Dr. MARGITTAI promised to enhance the relationships among the Fellows and with MIF.

 

The Matsumae International Foundation will close the Secretariat for the summer holidays during the following dates. We will resume the business on August 20th (Mon), 2018.

A Graduation Ceremony for Dr. Chandan SAHI from India who completed his research study at Aoyama Gakuin University and Dr. Kieu Oanh NGUYEN THI who completed her research study at RIKEN was held on the 30th of July at MIF’s reception house in Tokyo.  At the ceremony, Prof. KATAYAMA, MIF’s Executive Director, directly presented the Certificate of Accomplishment and a memorial medal to the graduating Fellows. After the ceremony, Prof. KATAYAMA hosted a farewell dinner at “Shiosai”, a traditional Japanese restaurant, and both Dr. Chandan SAHI and Dr. Kieu Oanh NGUYEN THI promised to enhance the relationships among the Fellows and with MIF.
